Todd Khozein: Complex Problems Need Complex Networks

Everything moves toward harmony, says Todd Khozein, a complex systems thinker who helps clients address dense social and environmental problems through the intelligent collaboration of diverse minds. The solitary genius who will save us with an a-ha moment and a miraculous solution is a myth.

Instead, we must bring complex networks of humans to bear on our problems. “The trick to figuring these things out has less to do with you having the brilliant idea and more to do with us being able to develop a collective capacity,” he says. “We have to deeply dive into each other’s ideas — if we don’t do that, we don’t stand a chance.”
